The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and the resemblance of these people to their relatives can be proven. We know that most families resemble each other, to a greater or lesser extent. But there are times when genes go overboard and recreate, in certain people, the characteristics of their ancestors with too much accuracy.

Now I’ve Seen Everything went out and about searching the vastness of the internet, and we found photos of people who, upon seeing their relatives, might think they are looking in the mirror. Don’t miss the bonus about the British royal family at the end of the article.

1. “Growing up everyone told me I looked like my dad; I never really understood that until now.”

2. “My dad and me, and me and my daughter 23 years later.”

3. “Thirty-six years later, my daughter ended up with the exact same curls as me.”

4. “Me (2014) and grandma (1940s). Genetics don’t lie!”

5. “Me at 3 vs my daughter at 3”

6. “Top left is my husband in 1992 on his parents truck. The rest are of our son and our truck.”

7. “Me and my dad. 1982 and 2021. Both age 20, 39 years apart.”

8. “Took my son to get his first haircut. Same age, similar outfit, and the SAME chair (just updated) as me.”

9. “A comparison of my grandmother and myself”

10. “My father and his brother 60 years ago vs my two boys today...”

11. “Me: 1987 vs my son: 2017”

12. “Here’s a picture of my mom and I around the same age.”

13. “Here’s a picture of my mother who passed away and me around the same age. Photos ended up similar just by coincidence!”

14. “Me at 30 and my Dad at 30. Slight resemblance.”

15. “Mom and me at the same age.”

16. “My mom and I. Same age, different century.”

17. “Me (1996) vs my daughter (2018)”

18. “My grandma’s Lebanese passport picture from 1955 (left) and me in the present (right). Christmas gift to my dad last year.”

19. “My son and I at age five, in our respective school pictures”

20. “My daughter and I demonstrating genetics”

Bonus: Mary of Teck and her granddaughter, Queen Elizabeth II
