Portraying a great historical figure on-screen is probably one of the most challenging tasks for actors. Not only do they have to be believable in their role but also the characters have numerous nuances which they have to account for. And the fans of those real people whose lives become movies are very serious critics. On the flip side, when the job is well done, the praise becomes so much more valuable.

We at Now I’ve Seen Everything prepared some comparisons of actual historical figures and their on-screen versions.
