Heidi Klum and Seal’s Son, 19, Makes Runway Debut, Sparking Divided Reactions

Heidi Klum and Seal’s 19-year-old son, Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, is stepping into the world of modeling, following in his supermodel mother’s footsteps. He recently made his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week.

He confidently strutted down the runway at the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show at Hotel le Marois. Henry showcased two striking black suits: the first featured an open back with a long, knotted fabric piece around the waist, while the second was complemented by a massive scarf.

Although Heidi Klum, 51, didn't attend the event in person, she showed her support for her son on Instagram. The proud mom, who shares Henry with ex-husband Seal, posted a clip of Henry walking the runway, captioning it, "So proud of you Henry – Opening the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Show in Paris ❤️❤️❤️ ."

Henry’s entry into the modeling world sparked a strong reaction online, with some critics labeling the genetically-gifted teen a "nepo" baby. "I guess that if you have family with influence - then anybody can become a model," one commenter remarked. Another agreed, stating, "These celebrity kids use their parents' fame to become models, actors, etc. with no real talent, shameful if it were me I would go to college, or do something else instead of riding my famous parents' coattails."

Heidi Klum and Seal’s son made waves last year as well. In June, the former Project Runway host shared touching clips on Instagram from her 18-year-old son Henry’s high school graduation, which was attended by both her and her husband Tom Kaulitz.

In the first video, Henry, dressed in his graduation gown and cap, confidently walks across the stage to collect his diploma. The crowd erupts into cheers, with Klum herself leading the applause. Henry pauses for a photo, then walks offstage, beaming as his mom joyfully exclaims, “Yes Henry — woohoo!”

Heidi Klum's excitement continued in a second clip. As Henry exited the hall with his fellow graduates, he passed by his mother once again. She cheered loudly, “Yay Henry!” to which he responded with a warm, “Thank you!”

The series of photos and videos quickly captured widespread attention from fans, flooding her comment sections. One notable observation was the striking resemblance between Henry and his father. "Handsome young man… Looks like his Dad," one user commented. Other remarks included, "Gorgeous as his father," and "Looks like Seal... Same smile."
