Jessica Simpson rose to fame at the age of 18 as a vibrant singer. Later, she got married and for many years, she played the role of the ’dumb blonde.’ However, for over a decade now, she has been happily married to another man, with whom she has found joy as a wife and mother.

Jessica Simpson was a huge name in the music industry back in the ’00s. The third released single from her debut album, “I Think I’m in Love with You,” became an instant hit, selling over 2 million copies.

The success landed her on a tour, opening for the boyband, 98 Degrees. There, she met her first husband, Nick Lachey.

But their love story came to an end.

Unfortunately, not everything was going well behind the scenes. In November 2005, the couple announced they were divorcing.

Simpson began dating a retired football player named Eric Johnson in May 2010, and the bond was so strong that they announced their engagement in November of that same year.

Eric was already married. He tied the knot in 2005, and four years later, the couple separated. They filed for divorce in January 2010, and by May 2010, Eric had met Jessica. His divorce was finalized in October, and in November, he proposed to Jessica. The couple tied the knot in 2014 and is set to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in 2024.

By that time, the couple had already become parents twice. In 2011, they welcomed their first child, followed by a second pregnancy in 2012. In 2019, their third daughter also joined the family. This pregnancy was challenging for Jessica: she suffered from sciatica, endured a prolonged bout of bronchitis, and her legs swelled so much that she had to give up wearing shoes.

They are still in love more than a decade later and don’t hide it. In a recent interview, Simpson declared, “It’s nuts. It’s kind of crazy. I feel like Eric and I have been together so much longer. We have been together for a long time, but it feels like 20 [years]. My life before him, I had a blast. But once I met Eric, I feel like it was more nurtured. Everything was more supported. Everything felt so easy.”
