Statistics say that children of doctors are 24 times more likely to follow that same career path. And the same goes for many other occupations, such as lawyers and those in film and television. However, sometimes kids have no interest in doing what their parents do and they choose something different. It might be under the same umbrella of occupations, but it’s also completely different.

1. Nicolas Cage’s son is a musician.

Weston Cage is the older son of Nicholas Cage. This young man tried to start an acting career, but he hasn’t had any big roles yet. However, Weston is a talented musician. He was in the black metal band called Eyes of Noctum and has recorded several soundtracks for Hollywood films.

Hannah Selleck won several medals even as an amateur horseback rider. She recently became a professional athlete and finished a few of her competitions in a top-five spot.
