Believe it or not, plenty of popular films and TV shows contain mistakes that slipped through the cracks. They’re easy to miss on the first watch, but once you spot them, you’ll definitely want to go back and see them for yourself. We were surprised to find slip-ups in some of our favorite movies — and we hope they’ll surprise you too!

1. In House of Gucci, Lady Gaga’s character is seen listening to music on a portable cassette player, even though these devices weren’t released until a year after the events depicted in that scene.

2. In Titanic, Rose is not holding onto her dress in one shot, but in the next one, she is.

3. In Big Little Lies, Nicole Kidman puts her finger on the camera lens by accident.

4. In Babylon Berlin, season 2, the main character is using his Leica Standard camera wrong — the lens is closed, so the camera can’t capture anything.

5. In Little Women, a plastic bottle can be seen in Laurie’s house, even though the movie is set in 1863.

6. In New Girl, season 4, Jess’s nail polish disappears mid-scene.

7. In Malcolm in the Middle, Dewey plays without a cartridge in his Game Boy.

8. No Country for Old Men is supposed to take place in 1980, but the tag on the phone booth is dated ’06.

9. In Hellboy, when Hellboy is talking to his dad, the phone screen shows an “incoming call” screen instead of an “in call” screen.

10. In Zombieland: Double Tap, a cameraman’s finger is shown on-screen.

11. In the comedy Marry Me, Jennifer Lopez’s phone screen still shows an active call, even though the conversation has already ended in the storyline.

12. In Resident Alien, season 2, you can see the camera in the driver’s window.

13. In Sons of Anarchy, season 3, Stephen King measures an arm using the back side of a tape measure.

14. Beauty and the Beast included the Eiffel Tower, but it wasn’t built yet.

  • In Beauty and the Beast, when Lumière is singing “Be Our Guest,” during the line, “...after all miss, this is France,” the dishes form the shape of the Eiffel Tower, but according to sources, Beauty and the Beast takes place somewhere between 1790-1880, and the Eiffel Tower was completed in 1889.

15. In the movie Twilight, Bella and Edward arrive to school together. There is a sunshine on Edward’s left cheek, but no glittery effect is being shown at all.
