16 People Who Opted for Plastic Surgery, but Regretted It Once They Saw the Results

The trend of people opting for cosmetic enhancements has witnessed a steady increase over the last few years. At the same time, some of us find it difficult to decide to make drastic changes in our appearance because the result can be unpredictable. We’ve come across individuals online who expressed deep disappointment with their experiences in plastic surgery.

“I regret getting a chin implant.”

“Feeling hideous 2 months post-op rhinoplasty. Anyone else look this awful post-op?”

What was wrong with her gorgeous natural nose? I'd Love to have had her natural nose. Seems that some surgeons should employ psychologists rather than nurses.

“Are my fillers botched? Should I have them dissolved?”

“I am so worried and have deep regrets about my surgery.”

I don't understand what part of her face she thought that she needed to have surgery on ... Am I blind? Any surgeon who would take money for surgery on this girl's beautiful face should be both struck off & sued!

“Rhinoplasty goes wrong even with a highly experienced surgeon.”

“Help! I just got my lip fillers today, and I am scared that it is swelling like this. Is this normal and will subside eventually? Or I have botched lips?”

“Rhinoplasty looks worse after 1 year post-op.”

“Day 6 post 1 syringe of juvéderm. Is this normal? My top lip seriously looks like duck lips.”

“Had maxillofacial surgery. 3 months post-op and my face is still badly disfigured. Badly regretting it right now.”

Your natural born jaw was a fabulous strong jaw ... & perfect nose! I don't know what work you had done, but you certainly don't look disfigured ... however I still can't work out why you had any work done at all. Loved the dimple ...I'll bet your Mum was furious!

“1 week post 1ml hyaluronic acid lip filler (first time). Is this normal?”

Isn't hyaluronic acid a serum that you put ONTO the skin? It's an humectant so it attracts water/moisture .. I hope you're ok ...

“First time getting Botox... 4 days out and the hood above the eyelid seems sunken/lower than usual. Is this going to get worse?”

“Lip fillers done 3.5 hours ago, and I’m worried if this big bruise/swelling indicates vascular occlusion? Bluish bruising began during the procedure itself, and this is what it looks like now. Still a little numb but no pain in the injection site.”

“Asian rhinoplasty, my nose is still swollen, opinion please, I’m a bit worried about high nose and the bridge being so high cause the crease at the radix. Anyone else has this problem?”

“3 weeks post-op rhinoplasty and lip lift combo (feeling rough).”

  • I got a rhinoplasty and lip lift on May 9th. The tape is off, but I’m still taping at night and maintaining a somewhat healthy diet without coffee to help with healing. In general, I like the direction everything is going, and I know it’s so early, but I’m annoyed by the bunny-looking lip incompetence. Has anyone had these 2 procedures in combination before? © respectable_lady / Reddit

“I got kybella done 5 months ago. My first picture is before, the second is 5 months after. My chin has gotten so much worse.”

“A friend of mine got absolutely botched in Brazil (he lives there) by a famous doctor.”

At the same time, some ordinary people were not afraid to undergo plastic surgery and found themselves incredibly satisfied with the results of their transformation.

Every person in this list was fine the way they were. Not just fine but very nice looking. What a waste of time and money.
