During a recent documentary exploring the life of David Beckham, Victoria asserted that her family had a “very working-class” background. However, her statement was quickly challenged when David emerged from behind a door, questioning her about the true nature of her childhood. This candid moment was shared on social media and swiftly went viral, garnering significant attention.

A documentary about David came out on Netflix.

Netflix recently released a documentary that delves into the life of David Beckham. Directed by Fisher Stevens, the film portrays the journey of the renowned footballer, encapsulating both his professional career and personal life. Stevens candidly revealed that conducting 30 hours of interviews with David felt akin to assuming the role of a therapist.

The documentary is presented in four distinct parts, each exploring pivotal junctures in Beckham’s life. It sheds light on his transition from a working-class background, his serendipitous encounter with Victoria, and his complex relationship with his former Manchester United manager.

Victoria claimed that her family belonged to the working class.

The documentary wouldn’t be comprehensive without featuring Victoria. The star also participated in an interview within the documentary, where she shared insights into her own upbringing. It seemed she was eager to convey a story that underscored the extent of her personal journey. During her interview, Victoria confided to the off-camera interviewer, saying, “We were very, very working class”.

David interjected during her interview.

David playfully peeked out from behind the door and teasingly remarked, “Be honest!” To which, Victoria responded, “I am honest!” Nevertheless, David continued to press her to reveal the truth, and Victoria remained steadfast in her stance, repeating, “I am being honest.”

Then, David posed a tricky question, asking, “What car did your dad drive you to school in?” Victoria initially attempted to evade the question, but David persisted. Eventually, she relented, saying, “In the 80s, my dad had a Rolls-Royce.”

People praise him for that.

After the clip surfaced on social media, it quickly gained viral status. Numerous users began joking about David’s playful interruption of Victoria, commending his honesty and sense of humor.

Conversely, some individuals expressed indignation regarding Victoria’s alleged pretense of being “working class.” Nonetheless, certain fans speculated that this unexpected “twist” might have been a deliberate move to boost the documentary’s popularity.

Victoria’s childhood wasn’t tough.

The star is famously recognized as Posh Spice due to her stint as a member of the Spice Girls. Interestingly, she was born into an upper-middle-class family. Her father, Anthony Adams, was an electronic engineer, while her mother, Jacqueline, juggled roles as an insurance clerk and a hairdresser. Victoria’s upbringing was marked by comfort, thanks to her parents’ ownership of an electronics wholesale business.

Her parents actively encouraged her to explore acting, music, dancing, and modeling. Surprisingly, despite her family’s affluence, the star felt embarrassed and would often ask her father not to drop her off at school in the Rolls-Royce.

Victoria Beckham recently opened up about her emotions regarding the alleged infidelity of David and how it nearly devastated their marriage.
