What the Life Partners of our Favorite Stars Look Like

We enjoy looking at photos of grown-up stars from the nineties and noughties. It evokes pleasant nostalgia within us. We decided to show who our favorites from cult movies and TV series have chosen as their partners. Many of them have gotten married and even started families.

Joe Jonas

One of the Jonas Brothers, Joe, was 17 when the pop band released their first album titled It’s About Time. In 2019, he and Sophie Turner (a Game of Thrones star, who also started her acting career quite early) tied the knot. The couple is expecting their second child at the moment.

Alexa PenaVega

Most of us remember Alexa PenaVega for her role in the Spy Kids movies, but she started her career even earlier: her first role was in 1996 in the movie called Twister. Nowadays, Alexa is known as an actress and singer. She’s married to former Big Time Rush actor and singer Carlos PenaVega. The couple has 3 kids together.

Lindsay Lohan

The star of movies like The Parent Trap (1998) and Freaky Friday (2003) started her career as a model when she was just 3 years old. Now Lindsay Lohan is starring in films too, with Falling for Christmas (2022) coming later this year. She and financier Bader Shammas recently got married, which she announced on July, 2nd, saying she’s “the luckiest woman in the world.”

Christina Ricci

Known for her role in The Addams Family (1991), Christina Ricci made her debut in 1990 when she was 9. Currently, the actress has continued starring in movies and on television. Christina Ricci got married for the second time in 2021, her husband is hairstylist Mark Hampton.

Debby Ryan

Debby Ryan, who’s now an actress and a singer, started out in professional theaters when she was 7. Then she was discovered by Disney Channel. She tied the knot with musician Josh Dun in 2019.

Bridgit Mendler

Another Disney Channel star, Bridgit Mendler, started her acting career in 2004 when she was 12. Since then, she’s appeared in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (2009), Wizards of Waverly Place, Good Luck Charlie (2010-2014), etc. In 2019, the actress announced that she married Griffin Cleverly.

Ashley Tisdale

This Disney star came to success thanks to her roles in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (2005–2008) and High School Musical (2006), but she appeared in lots of advertisements and minor TV and theater roles even before that. Now she has her own business ventures and appears on TV and in the movies. She has been married to Christopher French since 2014, and their daughter Jupiter Iris French was born in 2021.

David Henrie

The star of Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-2012) first got a regular role on the sitcom The Pitts (2003) when he was 13. Now he also directs movies and writes scripts. He got married in 2017 to former Miss Delaware, Maria Cahill. The couple is expecting their third child now.

Matthew Lewis

English actor Matthew Lewis quickly became famous after he played Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series. However, this wasn’t his first movie: his debut happened in Some Kind of Life (1996). At present, Matthew Lewis continues his career, with more TV appearances. In 2018, he married Angela Jones, an event manager.

Nathan Kress

The actor who a lot of people recognize from his role in iCarly (2007–2012), a sitcom which was revived in 2021, started his career when he was just 4 years old: he appeared in commercials and some films. Later, he added directing and voice-over experience to his portfolio. Nathan married actress and stunt performer, London Elise Moore, in 2015. The couple has 2 daughters.

Bonnie Wright

Bonnie Wright’s journey to stardom began with her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter series. As a child actress, she enchanted audiences with her performance and then continued her career, appearing in both films and plays, and directing and producing her own work. Bonnie had married her longtime boyfriend, Andrew Lococo. On 28 April 2023, Wright revealed they were expecting their first child.

Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas began his career as a pop singer in the Jonas Brothers band, achieving great success on the Disney Channel and in the music industry. Besides his singing career, he has also proven himself as an actor. Jonas has since transitioned to a solo music career. In 2018, he married Bollywood star and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra. In January 2022, Jonas revealed he and his wife had welcomed their first child, a daughter, via surrogacy.
