Sometimes, becoming a parent takes a long time and can feel like a big wait. And according to researches new dads are older than they’ve been in decades. Being a dad at an older age might have its challenges, but it can still be amazing no matter what.

Josh Brolin, 52

At 52 years old, Josh Brolin became a dad to four kids. His wife, Kathryn, shared the pregnancy news on July 7, 2020, with a picture of her and their young daughter Westlyn Reign.

Kathryn wrote in the caption, «The Brolin’s are a growin’!! Our little December babe is on the way...🌱»

Josh left a playful comment, saying, «Wow. That’s amazing! Congratula ... wait ... WHAT?!?!»

Apart from Westlyn, Josh has two grown-up kids, a daughter named Eden and a son named Trevor, from his first marriage to actress Alice Adair. Josh and Kathryn got married in September 2016.

John Travolta, 57

John Travolta and his wife, the late Kelly Preston, had two children together. Their son Jett was born in 1992, and daughter Ella Bleu joined the family in 2000. The family faced a tragedy when Jett passed away suddenly from a seizure at the age of 16.
