13 Goofs in Movies Attentive Viewers Couldn’t Help but Notice

It’s well-known that it’s impossible to take care of everything on the set. And even though there are hundreds of people that are supposed to make a shot perfect, there might still be some details that look implausible. Sometimes, directors add imperfections on purpose to toy with the audience. And the most attentive viewers will notice all the goofs, so today’s compilation is about them.

We at Now I’ve Seen Everything know for sure that goofs don’t ruin our favorite films. And yet, it’s very interesting to find out what we missed.

It (2017)

The movie is set in 1998. The sets, the clothes, and the hair of the characters reflect the atmosphere of the time period. But that is only until Beverly enters the drugstore, and we see modern hygiene products on the shelves.

The Fifth Element (1997)

There is a scene where Leeloo is crawling in the vent. Then, she lifts her hands up, and we can see that her palms are dirty. But several seconds later, she lands on a taxi, and her hands are somehow clean.

Forrest Gump (1994)

Apple only held an IPO in 1980. This was the moment when people could invest in it. The film is set in 1976, when Forrest gets a letter from Apple Computers. And he says he had already “invested in some kind of fruit company.”

Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)

In this scene, you can see Sonic driving a car. When the camera starts moving, you will notice that the Sonic’s ear appears in the foreground (outside the car), even though it should be behind the car.

Kate & Leopold (2001)

In the scene where Darci (Natasha Lyonne) comes up to the elevator to press the call button, you can clearly see she touches the wall several inches to the right of the button.

Iron Man (2008)

Tony Stark is working on a computer with a cup next to him. But it’s upside down. You can see the “Stark” letters. When the camera shows the close-up of the cup, it’s already positioned correctly.

Horrible Bosses 2 (2014)

When doctor Julia Harris (Jennifer Aniston) enters the room, she’s wearing some thick pants. And some time later, when everyone is sitting, we see Julia wearing transparent pantyhose.

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is talking to Peter Parker (Tom Holland) on the spaceship, discussing how serious the situation is, when the frame changes, you can see the background and Spider-Man’s hair change.

The Peanut Butter Falcon (2019)

Tyler, Zak, and Eleanor are trying to get from South Carolina to Florida, but they are walking in the opposite direction. The scene would be plausible if the ocean was on their left.

That Awkward Moment (2014)

It’s the scene where Ellie (Imogen Poots) is sitting at a cafe and talking to Jason (Zac Efron). At some point, you can notice that her reflection is not in sync with her as she moves her head. The shots were combined.

The Gentlemen (2020)

Rosalind (Michelle Dockery) is walking from the car to the garage, and the camera shows her feet. She’s wearing the Louboutins. When she leaves the office and her husband looks at her, she’s already wearing different shoes.

Tesla (2020)

The characters are in the field during a thunderstorm. But when lightning strikes, the actors’ shadows appear on the wall. It’s possible that the scene was filmed in a studio, and not on location.

The Witcher (2019)

In season 1, when Ciri gets into the forest, she has light eyebrows. The most attentive viewers noticed that in season 2, her eyebrows turn dark.

Even though we’re discussing some movie flaws in this article, that’s not why we watch movies in the first place. The author of this article really enjoyed season 2 of The Witcher. Maybe, you have some opinions about a movie from this compilation? We look forward to reading your comments.
