Natasha Polis, a well-known plus-size influencer, is capturing attention online with her impressive Disney and famous movies outfit recreations. Through her creative takes on classic characters like the Disney princesses, she’s redefining the typical beauty standards in pop culture. Her costumes highlight her curves while staying faithful to the original designs, proving that anyone can embrace magic with style and self-confidence.

Natasha Polis, a creative influencer known for her incredible character outfit recreations, has gone viral multiple times for her dedication to bringing beloved characters to life with a unique twist. She designs and sews her own garments, and sometimes even uses glue to attach intricate pieces of her wardrobe.

One of her famous look was Belle from Beauty and the Beast is no exception. Known for crafting multiple versions of Belle’s iconic dress, Natasha recently unveiled a modern twist: a version featuring a short skirt, perfect for a contemporary update on the timeless look.

In a TikTok post, she proudly shared, “My short modern Belle dress I made in 2 days,” highlighting her quick turnaround and creative skills.

Natasha always add some thrilling details into iconic Disney looks we used to see. Like in this Snow White outfit. In her post she wrote, “Glam Snow White for Princess Night. I made this whole look in 4 days!! I have NEVER been to an after dark event at Disney and wanted to make something costume-y and glitzy! I’m super proud of this look because I didn’t use any patterns. I copied one of my corsets for the top but the sleeves were all me baby and they came out SOOO GOOD!! Snow gets a bad rep sometimes but that girl got to live her single life with boys who would do anything for her while she hustled for a husband. Who found her at home!! If ONLY this would happen for me!”

In 2018, she caught the eye of Disney itself, sharing her excitement when she wrote, “I’m so excited that @disneystyle asked me to be their PLUS SIZE Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas!

4. Megara (Hercules)

More recently, Natasha went viral for her updated recreation of Megara from Hercules, proudly showcasing the evolution of her skills. In her post, she shared, “The corset is absolutely stunning and defying gravity with my chest to waist ratio... The updated 3D printed medallions are so freaking pretty and elevated this cosplay to new heights!”

Though she sees room for improvement, her creations have captivated audiences with their creativity and craftsmanship. Natasha’s passion for Disney doesn’t end with her costumes; she dreams of a day when Disney introduces a plus-size princess, declaring, “I’m just waiting for the call when Disney finally decides to make a plus-size Princess. I’M READY WITH MY VOICE!”

5. Rapunzel (Tangled)

In a TikTok video, Natasha invited her followers to “Get ready with me for my FIRST REN FAIRE as Rapunzel!” She showcased her step-by-step transformation into a “#CURVY Rapunzel,” adding her unique touch to the beloved Disney character.

6. Giselle (Enchanted)

Polis rounded out her impressive collection of Disney-inspired recreations with a stunning version of Giselle’s dress from Enchanted. She crafted this particular outfit to wear at the premiere of the sequel, Disenchanted, capturing the whimsical charm of the character perfectly. To make the cosplay even more authentic, Natasha donned a long red wig, mirroring Giselle’s signature hairstyle from the films.

Other movies characters

Baby Yoda (Mandalorian)

Natasha tries herself in different heroes outfit, not only Disney characters. Recently she showed up in a Baby Yoda look. She upgraded the outfit, sharing, “I made Grogu (baby yoda) into a high fashion princess for Star Wars Nite. Grogu is my favorite creature in all of Star Wars. He’s the absolute cutest in the land and I love him so much! I wanted to give him the Princess treatment and I made this sparkly dress with feathers and a shawl.”

Queen Padme Amidala (Star Wars)

One more fascinating hero from this movie universe inspired Natasha. She said, “I’m so happy with how my Queen Amidala came out. She wears SO MANY OUTFITS! But even considering the thought of making one of her queen Amidala looks is overwhelming. Even doing this hair and makeup took well over 2 hours. I did her Naboo fields dress, I would love to do that sexy black outfit or her traveling dress with the headpiece. There’s so many options... while Rey and Leia have only white clothes”.

Barbie (Barbie)

Polis gets inspiration from many movies, but she couldn’t miss the opportunity to recreate iconic Barbie look. She shared, “Dreams really do come true in Barbie Land. I had the time of my life attending the Barbie World Premiere in LA! We absolutely slayed that pink carpet in custom looks that we pulled out of our butts in 4 days. Each dress took about 18 hours each!! I’ve never been more proud of dresses under such crazy time constraints.”

It’s amazing to see different body types represented in the fashion world. When influencers embrace this diversity and show how attractive uniqueness can be, it helps make all body shapes feel normal and celebrated. Their confidence inspires others to see the beauty in themselves, just as they are.
