It seems that a lot of people like to criticize other people’s families. Grandparents, colleagues, friends, and even strangers seem to find it quite entertaining because, for some reason, they believe that only they know what is right and what is not. They can also be prone to double standards. Even though we live in the 21st century, some people still think that it’s a woman’s responsibility to raise children, so they often become the object of criticism. In comparison, fathers seem to be doing great by default.

People seem to perceive mom’s and dad’s actions in a totally different way.

Dads, who like raising children more than building their career, sometimes have to face a lot of criticism.

People tend to be irritated with a woman who has a lot of baby food at the checkout, even if she doesn’t have a child with her. Men usually receive much more compassion from other customers.

Moms have to do everything right immediately, while dads are doing great no matter what.

It doesn’t matter how many children you have there will always be someone who’ll be unhappy with this number.

Teachers tend to treat moms and dads in a different way. And they are usually more kind to dads.

Grandparents also tend to use double standards quite often.

And there are also people who believe that only they know what real life is about.

Single moms and single dads are perceived in a different way.

Sometimes, people just can’t mind their own business.

Society has already gotten used to the idea that women can take their children to work. But it’s not as easy for men.

In general, moms have to face much more requirements from society than dads.
