12 People Whose Jobs Are More Dramatic Than Reality TV

For years, George Clooney has epitomized classic Hollywood elegance. But his latest public appearance has left fans unsettled, with many wondering if something might be amiss with the beloved actor.
The 64-year-old actor and filmmaker recently made his Broadway debut in Good Night, and Good Luck, portraying the legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow. To fully embody the role, Clooney dyed his signature silver hair a much darker shade — a change that has sparked mixed reactions.
He opened up about the transformation during an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, sharing candidly what his wife, Amal Clooney, thought about his dramatic new look.
Clooney shared that Amal said his dark hair is “funny,” before adding a witty remark: “She’ll be glad when it’s gone. [...] I’m wearing a hat to hide my bad hair. It’s bad. It’s still dark on top, but it’s gray on the bottom.”
While the darker hair suits the character, Clooney didn’t seem too enthusiastic about how it’s being received off-stage.
During the interview, Seth Meyers jumped in with a jab, “It looks great on stage, but off-stage it looks like you’re trying to get away with something.”
To which Clooney replied with his signature wit, “It’s horrible. It looks like you’re going through some sort of midlife crisis. I’m 64, midlife is a little stretch.”
Even with the humor, many fans have expressed their worries. Some shared comments on social media, such as “Poor George.”
Lately, fans have had trouble recognizing him:
Aging is a natural part of life — even for Hollywood legends. Fans simply hope Clooney continues to embrace it, silver strands and all.
