Rumer Willis, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has recently made an announcement about the birth of her first child with her partner, Derek Richard Thomas. The news was shared on her Instagram account on the evening of April 25th, along with an adorable photo of her newborn.

According to Willis, her daughter was born at home on April 18th. She also revealed her daughter’s name, which is Louetta Isley Thomas Willis. In her Instagram post, the young woman expressed her love for her newborn daughter, describing her as “pure magic”.

The actress who is recognized for her appearances in movies like The House Bunny and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, has received a plethora of congratulatory messages after announcing the happy news.

Rumer looked over the moon during the intimate baby shower in March of this year. The event was hosted by Willis’ mother, Demi Moore, as well as her sisters, Tallulah and Scout.

In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this month, she expressed her eagerness to give birth and welcome the latest addition to the Willis family. She shared her excitement, saying, “[My parents] are so excited. My sisters are so excited, and it’s so fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family, especially because we’re such a huge group at this point.”

The actress also shared that her first pregnancy had been a humbling experience, and she now has a newfound respect and admiration for women. Despite having an easier physical experience compared to most of her friends, Rumer acknowledged that pregnancy is a wild experience that is even more challenging than she initially anticipated.

Now that little Louetta has been born, the actress can expect to have an even more exciting journey as a new mother. Congratulations to Rumer Willis and Derek Richard Thomas on the arrival of their bundle of joy!

We agree that pregnancy can be tough, but it also a wonderful journey that makes the mom-to-be all the more glowing.
