Hollywood stars are thrown under the microscope everytime they make a public appearance. It’s not only about their clothes and hair choices, but mainly about their face and how they’ve chosen to alter it. It’s Hollywood’s beauty standards and pressure that often makes them visit a plastic surgeon in an effort to look younger. However, not everyone follows this path and many of them choose to age naturally.

The singer shared a series of “notes to self” on her Twitter account. “Dear Me, you’re getting older. I see lines,” she wrote. “Every once in a while you consider altering your face, and then you watch a show where you want to see what the person is feeling...and their face doesn’t move,” she continued. “I want my children to know what I look like when I’m angry.”

Once you mess with your face, you can’t get it back,” she said.

The Friends star admits getting older in Hollywood has been tough for her. “I was trying so hard to keep up, and I actually made things worse,” she shared. Many doctors suggested she get fillers and injections, and at some point, she wasn’t looking like herself anymore. “I’ve had all my fillers dissolved. I’m as natural as I can be. Those aren’t wrinkles — they’re smile lines,” Cox said.
