10 Men Got a Real Drama From Their Woman But Had No Clue Where Exactly They Screwed Up

Sometimes, it feels like men and women are from completely different worlds. Women often notice small details and may blow them out of proportion, while men don’t even seem to notice these things at all. It’s a common difference that can lead to misunderstandings, even over the tiniest issues.

  • I was on vacation with friends, and I told my girlfriend back home that people kept flashing their melons at us and it was very distracting. She got pissed. When I sent her a picture of the various watermelon stands on the side of the road that I was talking about, she got even more pissed. © KingCabbage / Reddit
  • Little bit of backstory: before this moment, when I saw my ex cooking pasta, she measured out the cups of water to put in the pot. I get that it can make some level of difference for pasta, but this wasn’t something where we’d be able to tell the difference. I told her that no one does that we just put water in the pot till it looks like it’s enough, most pasta it doesn’t matter as long as there’s enough water in the pot. Apparently she had no idea people did that.
Fast forward 2-ish weeks, she was making rice. I watched her fill the pot ~75% full of water. I asked if she was going to measure the water, and she exploded. Turns out she had no idea you were supposed to measure the water when you make rice. © cryptospartan / Reddit
  • My ex used to be chronically late for everything, often by a few hours. So, I started telling her to show up a few hours before the actual event. It worked, and she never caught on—until one day I overshot it. She showed up ’on time,’ which was 3 hours early, fully dressed and in full makeup, ready to have dinner with my mom. She was livid, and I thought it was hilarious. We both learned a lesson that day. © Abigboi_ / Reddit
  • 3 different women got mad at me because they dreamed I had cheated on them. I’ve never heard of a man getting mad about a dream. © ImmodestPolitician / Reddit
  • My ex usually dressed conservatively. We were invited to a party, and I hadn’t seen her dress until we were getting ready to leave. She came out of the bedroom, and I said, “Wow, you look stunning.” She spun around, marched back to the room, and locked herself inside. It turned out that, in her mind, my comment translated to, “I wish I was dating a slut.” The dress was much more revealing than what she typically wore. Apparently, she thought it looked slutty and wanted to ask me about it to test my reaction. We ended up not going to the party at all and spent the night talking through the bedroom door. © Jelopuddinpop / Reddit
  • My wife told me to get a haircut. I said I wanted a mullet. She informed me a mullet was not what she wanted. Well, I went ahead and got a mullet. My body my choice right? She didn’t talk to me for 48 hours. Every time I saw her angry face, I would laugh. © Aeonmage / Reddit
  • My ex and I used to go on road trips now and then. This happened when we were planning a trip for the following weekend. She mentioned that driving for four hours on our last road trip had caused her a headache, so I offered to drive most of the way on the next trip. She got mad at me, claiming that I didn’t think she was capable and that I was just trying to disrespect her to get a reaction. She was upset with me for two days over this. © ASunnyDay** / Reddit
  • My wife has packed our luggage three times and keeps losing the things she needs, getting increasingly frustrated when she can’t find them. I step in, move everything around, and find her shorts, glasses, sweater, etc., but then she gets angry at me for messing up her ’system.’ Since it’s her time of the month, I mostly just nod and apologize. © RonIsIZe_13 / Reddit
  • I am a sleep doer, not active enough to walk, but enough to do something. One night, in the bed together I sleep hug her, waking her up, then go back dormant. She could not fall back asleep, and two hours later I am woken up. I think its an emergency, but its just a raging wife. © MrKillakan / Reddit
  • My girlfriend came over and told me she had started doing one of those milkshake diet things. I hadn’t bought anything for dinner, so I secretly ordered a garlic chili chicken calzone. When it arrived and I started eating it, she was fuming that I would do that in front of her while she was on a diet, so she went upstairs. © TheWackoMagician / Reddit

Sometimes, our partner might say something they don’t mean to humiliate us, but it still hurts. These moments can build up, and before we know it, they can turn the relationship cold. In some cases, it can even lead to them becoming our ex.
