As the whole world was looking forward to the Barbie movie premiere, the main actress, Margot Robbie, did a great job in keeping the fans super-interested. One of the ways she did it were her red carpet appearances. Lots of her outfits were inspired by Barbie dolls from various time periods, and the work of everyone involved in this was truly impressive.

For the press-conference in Seoul, Margot Robbie wore Moschino skirt suit which was inspired by a “Sparkling Pink” Barbie from 1964.

At another premiere, the actress wore a second dress that belongs to “Brunette Bubble Cut” Barbie from 1962. Dilara Findikoglu was the one who designed the outfit.

At an event in Sydney, Australia, Margot wore a metallic dress by Versace that looks quite similar to “Happy Birthday” Barbie.

And here is Margot in a 1959’s “Swimsuit” Barbie outfit designed by Hervé Léger.

As we can see, Margot Robbie and the Barbie movie’s team did a great job paying tribute to the iconic dolls. However, this was certainly not the first time celebrities referenced their roles on the red carpet.
