14 Actors Who Reunited After Many Years and Warmed Our Hearts

Imagine being at a certain workplace for many years and then the company you work for shuts down. You and your co-workers are forced to find a new job and therefore lose the everyday contact you once had. Meeting again after many years and talking about the past seems like a wonderful experience. This is exactly the case with actors who worked on successful projects together and then meet years later.

1. A Walk to Remember

On March 25, 2019, Mandy Moore got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her colleagues from This Is Us, together with Shane West, her “beloved” from A Walk to Remember, came to support her. West gave a touching speech and gave the actress a photo of them from the set of the melodrama.

2. Harry Potter

Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton, also known as Lucius and Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter films, have reunited at one of Felton’s theatre shows. Both of them shared the sweet moment on social media. And even if they aren’t related in real life, they called each other “my father” and “my son,” throwing us right back into the Potter realm.

3. Modern Family

Sofia and Rico were mother and son at the beloved sitcom Modern Family for 11 seasons. Their on-screen relationship was one of the most interesting mother-son bonds we’ve seen on TV. They have both moved on now but they still share a lot of love for one another.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons also played father and daughter on the same show. In 2022, they reunited and shared a photo of their reunion where Aubrey looks so grown up.

4. Gossip Girl

15 years after the teen drama, Gossip Girl, originally premiered, Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester have crossed roads once again. The actor who played the role of Dan Humphrey invited his ex-co-star as a guest on his new podcast, Podcrushed.

5. The X-Files

The X-Files premiered almost 30 years ago, and former co-stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny reunited in April 2021. The 2 were joined by Anderson’s furry friend, Stella, who approved of the reunion and, according to the actress, “made a new friend today.”

6. 50 First Dates

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore get along so well that they’ve starred in 3 movies together: The Wedding Singer (1998), 50 First Dates (2004), and Blended (2014). Sandler won the award for Best Actor from the National Board of Review earlier this year, as recognition for his work in Rough Diamonds, and the prize was presented by his friend Drew.

When Sonny Koufax (Adam Sandler) wanted to impress his girlfriend and adopted a kid, Julian (played by twins Cole and Dylan Sprouse), he didn’t know where this adventure would take him. More than 20 years after the comedy Big Daddy was released, Sprouse and Sandler met again, sharing the moment with Sandler’s wife, Jackie, singer King Princess, and actor David Spade.

8. The Mask of Zorro

Zorro was a character born in a comic book that made its way to television, theater, and cinema. Among the latest editions are The Mask of Zorro from 1998 and its sequel, The Legend of Zorro, from 2005. These films starred Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who were reunited last year when presenting an award at the Golden Globes.

9. Back to the Future

Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), also known as the Back to the Future stars, proved that while they had a time-traveling DeLorean in 1985 when the film premiered, they still own one today. With one photograph, they got us traveling all the way to the past and then back to the current day.
