Despite Previous Complications, Kourtney Kardashian Gave Birth to a Baby Boy

After a pregnancy marked by worrisome complications, Kourtney Kardashian, aged 44, has reportedly greeted her fourth child. The newborn, a baby boy, represents the initial addition to the family of Kardashian and her spouse, Travis Barker.

They had a Disney themed baby shower.

Two months before the birth, the mom-to-be and her husband were the special guests at an amazing Disneyland-themed party. They were celebrating the upcoming arrival of their baby boy with their closest friends and family.

The party was full of Disney magic, with Mickey balloons, tasty Mickey-shaped pretzels, and even a barbershop quartet that looked like the Dapper Dans from the park. Kourtney shared a video in her Instagram stories and said, “Special day. The happiest place on earth.”

The boy’s name is Rocky.

The Blink-182 musician had previously confirmed their intention to name their son Rocky Thirteen when discussing Kourtney’s due date. “It’s either Halloween,” he mentioned, “or like the first week of November.”

“I like Rocky Thirteen,” Barker said. “That’s this name that’s been going through my head lately... Rocky George played guitar for [iconic punk band] Suicidal Tendencies, and the name also serves as a homage to 1976 motion picture Rocky, the greatest boxing movie of all time.”

In the weeks leading up to the arrival of their baby, Kardashian Barker discussed a “medical emergency” she had experienced, which necessitated an urgent fetal surgery. Luckily, both mom and son are doing fine.

A source says, “Kourtney gave birth and she and Travis are so elated. They’re feeling extremely fortunate that both Kourtney and their baby are healthy after the complications Kourtney went through. They recognize that the circumstances could have been a lot different, so they are feeling extra appreciative and grateful that everyone is safe, happy, and healthy. That is what’s most important to them.”

The couple now has 6 kids in total.

Kourtney has three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick: Mason Disick, 13, Penelope Disick, 11, and Reign Disick, 8. On the other hand, Travis shares parenting with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler for Landon Barker, 20, and Alabama Barker, 17, and he is also a stepfather to Atiana De La Hoya, 24.

Before the arrival of their latest child, Kourtney and Travis, who got married in May 2022, had openly expressed their desire to expand their already big family.
