Amidst the constant praise for her physical appearance, the actress has revealed a more vulnerable side. Megan Fox shared her honest thoughts about her body, shedding light on the challenges she faces despite being hailed as one of the most beautiful female celebrities.

Fox was crowned as the hottest woman in the world.

Following her breakthrough performance in the live-action film Transformers, Fox’s popularity skyrocketed, earning her the title of “world’s hottest woman” in an online poll conducted by a prominent magazine in 2008.

The actress, now 37, continues to turn heads with her daring fashion choices that showcase her enviable figure. Her recent feature on the iconic swimsuit cover of Sports Illustrated only solidifies her status as a style icon and all-around stunner.

During a recent interview, Fox courageously shared her ongoing struggle with body dysmorphia, a condition that causes individuals to obsess over perceived flaws and imperfections, even if they are barely noticeable.

This condition can lead to feelings of embarrassment and anxiety, particularly in social situations. As Fox explained, “I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me. There’s never a point in my life where I loved my body. Never ever.”

In addition to discussing her battle with body dysmorphia, Fox also revealed the toll that being typecast in a certain image took on her mental health.

Following her role in the movie Jennifer’s Body, the actress experienced a psychological breakdown, as she explained, “I didn’t want to be seen in public at all because (of) the fear, and the belief, and the absolute certainty that I was going to be mocked.”

She said her insecurities started at a young age, and they continue to this day.

Reflecting on her past, Fox shared that she had an early obsession with conforming to a certain physical ideal, stating, “When I was little, that was an obsession I had, that I should look this way.”

Despite growing up in an environment where bodies were not emphasized, the actress still had a heightened awareness of her own physique, which she finds perplexing. As she explained, “And it definitely wasn’t environmental because I grew up in an environment where bodies weren’t even like, acknowledged.”

Regardless of her physical transformations over the years, Fox’s insecurities have remained deep-seated, as she candidly admitted, “I have a lot of deep insecurities.”

She also opened up about trying to love herself more.
