A Young Woman Went Through a Nightmare and Now Wants to Warn Everyone Who Dreams of Plump Lips

27-year-old Jessica Burko had her lips done multiple times, and everything always went fine. But recently, she experienced a real nightmare: after her latest injection, her lips doubled in size. And now Jessica wants to warn other women.

She’s not new to lip fillers.

The influencer stated that she had undergone lip filler injections on at least six occasions in the past, and had never experienced any adverse reactions.

Approximately one year had elapsed since her last lip filler treatment, and upon winning a complimentary giveaway, she thought this was the perfect timing to receive a touch-up.

On a TikTok video that has gone viral, the young woman shared, ’’Immediately after he injected me, I looked in the mirror and realized how swollen I was.’’

She then went back to the doctor who gave her a prescription but according to the Jessica her lips ’’got worse.’’

So, she decided to revisit the clinic the next day to have the filler dissolved, as her lips remained swollen and failed to recede.

The lesson she learned.

Fortunately, specialists managed to reverse the harm, and her lips quickly returned to their normal size.

But the 27-year-old hopes that her unpleasant experience serves as a warning to other women to ’’never do free cosmetics.’’ She noted, ’’It was a free giveaway that I won, it was for Halloween.’’ She then added humorously, ’’He certainly had me looking very scary.’’

Burko who says she ’’loves’’ getting her lips done, isn’t letting this bad occurrence stop her from getting injections, as she stated, ’’I will be back to my regular girl.’’

And according to Jessica’s regular lip filler specialist, the other professional may have ’’hit an artery,’’ which seemed plausible as the filler substance ’’did not have a clear path to follow’’.

The influencer made sure to send this important message to other people who got an injection, saying ’’If your lips look how mine did, you should be concerned. Get them instantly dissolved and go to someone else.’’

Jessica’s video has reached a million views. Some commentators began to criticize the girl, believing that she deliberately had her lips done to such an extent. Others sympathized with her and wished her a speedy recovery. There were also those who disagreed with the opinion that the cosmetologist hit an artery.

“If the doctor hit an artery, you would have a vascular occlusion,” one said. “Your lips would be pale white and you’d be in intense pain,” wrote another. “He did not hit an artery, this was a reaction” another commented.
