Woman Got a Disastrous Hairstyle at the Salon but Was Too Afraid to Complain

Comedian Maggie DePalo, hailing from Chicago, gained viral fame when she shared her hilariously disastrous blow-out experience. Seeking a hairstyle for one of her shows, she found herself unprepared for the unexpected 80s-inspired look she ended up with.

Taking to TikTok to vent, Maggie revealed that it was her first time visiting the boutique, the name of which she chose not to disclose. Describing the chaotic scene, she shared with the camera that she found herself seated, ready for a hair wash, before a team of individuals started working on her hair.

“Multiple people ferociously use round brushes on you, so many round brushes,” she exclaimed. “At one point, my head was way down, and when I looked up, and I came to, somebody else was pouring some white powder on my hair. The woman that was originally doing it is now answering the door, and they’re selling purses.”

Upon completion of the hairdo, Maggie found herself dissatisfied with the results. Despite her discontent, she hesitated to voice her concerns.

“Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly what I had anticipated, but I was too afraid to ask for the manager because I don’t wanna end up on the 9 o’clock news,” she humorously commented.

In a later interview, DePalo mentioned that she had requested the stylists to add volume as she had an important show scheduled for the evening, emphasizing that her hair was extremely flat.

“It’s pretty disturbing, so, trigger warning,” she warned before unveiling the “after” image from her hairstyling adventure.

The outcome was so excessively dramatic that the video garnered nearly a million views since its posting. The reactions were just as amusing as the video itself:

Having a bad hairstyle is undoubtedly an unpleasant experience, but it is much worse to undergo plastic surgery and later regret it upon seeing the results. This is precisely what happened to individuals in another one of our articles.
